Santa Claus (also known as Jolly Old St. Nick) made his yearly Christmas visit to the Sisters of Charity Orphanage in early January 2004 (splitting the difference between the Lutheran and Orthodox Christmases, it seems). As in years past, Mr. Claus distributed Lutheran World Relief School Kits from the Lutheran World Federation to the children of the orphanage. Smiles, laughter and twinkling eyes would suggest that the brightly colored school kit bags were a much appreciated gift.
